We are home from a GREAT vacation in Parowan. Everyone from my side of the family was there except for Ella and Dawne. Ella was a little sick and Dawne had to stay home and take care of here.
Chris and I barely made it out of Tulsa Christmas morning.
We got a lot of snow and ice Christmas Eve so they closed the airport.
Our flight was the first out in 24 hrs.
We were so lucky!
We spent Christmas evening in Las Vegas with Wade and his family. Miles joined us after he got of work that night.
Saturday we did a little shopping and picked up In-N-Out while we waited for Mackenzie, Jon, and Cole to arrive from Phoenix. We hopped in with them and headed to Parowan.
Misty and her family had already gotten to moms by the time we arrived.
We made some crafts, played a game of Scattergories, and then turned off all the lights and played hide and go seek like old times.
Believe it or no Cole was the last to be found!?
Mom was doing dishes in the dark.
Sunday we went to church and had a lazy day just hangin around...
I caught these stinkers sneaking into Grandma's candy
Later we went over the Chey and Cher's and played a couple games.
I am so glad i got to see them and Samantha.
Chey looks great, and Cher is about to pop with baby #2.
I was hoping he would come while I was in town... but that didn't happen.
Monday Misty and her kids went skiing @ Brian Head.
The rest of us went to Cedar for a little bit in the morning, and then headed up the mountian for some hookie bobbin once we got back.
my mom is on the end. She is amazing... I don't know any other 61 year old that would hookie bob!
I told Chris is was ok to backup.... it wasn't and we got stuck.
Brookes family got to mom's shortly after we all got off the mountain.
Tuesday, Vinces family got to moms bright and early.
Finally everyone was there!
We exchanged a few gifts, ate yummy food, and headed out for a snow day.
We spent hours tubing/sledding behind the car, hookie bobbing, and having fun!
And finished with only a few injuries :)
I let go...
...and I get taken out. OUCH!
And then it was time to go home Wednesday :(
I always hate having to leave.
I am thankful we were able to have such a nice trip and spend time with everyone!
I miss them all already!
