We started the Christmas season off by going to see the lights
at Rhema a few days after Thanksgiving.
Campbell was so cute all bundled up.
He LOVED running around saying "OH! lights!"
Everyday he'd come ask me to plug the tree in
(occasionally doing it on his own)
& then said "WOW!" as the lights came on.
Every. Single. Time.
The weekend before Christmas, we had a little get together at our house
with Chris' brother, sister & dad Barry.
We ate lunch & exchanged a few gifts.
The next night was Christmas Eve, so we headed out to Nene's house
to exchange gifts & eat dinner after church.
How cute are the boys in their matching bow ties?!
A few people at church referred to Emerson as "The Mack Daddy"
...that's how good he looked in his red corduroy one piece, bow tie & penny loafers.
We put the boys in their pjs & headed home to put food out for the reindeer,
cookies for santa & make sure everyone was snug in their bed...
after I finished packing for Utah.
Chris & I woke up bright & early Christmas morning.
The boys slept in til 9... of coarse they would.
When it was finally time to open presents Campbell had a great time.
The boys hit the jackpot!
Campbell's favorite gifts are:
his car track, little electronic bugs, piano & m&ms.
Emerson loves his orbe ball & alligator toy.
I put most of their stuff away & will gradually bring it out over the next few months.
It's going to feel like Christmas all over again :)
We cleaned up, got dressed & headed to the Millers for a quick lunch before heading to the airport.
The boys both did great on the plane.
We sat in the front row, which was perfect.
Campbell had room to get down & play while staying out of the isle.
We landed in Vegas, stopped for a quick visit at my brother Wades
& then were back on the road, headed to Utah.
Everyone arrived within about 12 hours of each other.
We ate, played & had a merry time.
Cam loved the snow & wrestling & dancing with his cousins.
Emerson loved all the kisses.
We had a great time, but are happy to be home & getting back into our groove.
