7 months

Another month has come & gone way too fast!
Campbell seems to be really stretching out.
He looks longer & thinner to me.
Now that his belly isn't so huge he can finally put those little piggies in his mouth.

The tongue has been rediscovered. It is constantly hanging out of his mouth... except when he is chewing on his fingers.
He really hasn't changed much in the last month.

He still refuses to roll from back to tummy although he is perfectly able...
I catch him doing it in his bed occasionally when he doesn't know I am looking.
All he wants to do is stand.
He'll hold onto the exersaucer with one hand and play with the other for quite a long time.
You can almost always catch him with his ankles crossed. It doesn't really matter what he is doing...
Sitting on the floor, sleeping on his back or stomach,
standing in his excersaucer, or riding in his car seat.
He shoves his hands in his mouth and squeals whenever he is being tickled.
We hardly ever get a good belly laugh anymore...
he's too busy figuring out the different pitches his voice can make.
Bath (& shower) time is a favorite. Cam figured out how to plash, and he does it well!
He's getting good at playing peek-a-boo, clapping his hands, & reaching for us.

We have lots of fun things in store for the rest of the year.
2011 is sure to go out with a bang.
{I can't believe we only have 3 months left of the year?!}

Coolio

Cole came to visit last week.
He hasn't been to Tulsa since he was 16 (6 years ago),
& we were sooo excited to have him here for 8 whole days!

Here cole is hiding in the garage while we were waiting to scare Chris.
Chris spotted Cole right away, but we had fun trying.

Most of the time he was here, we just hung around the house.
Cole and Cam had lots of shirtless bonding time.
Campbell obviously loves his uncle Cole just as much as I do.
He's a great brother, and an even better uncle!
I cried like a baby when we dropped him off at the airport.
That's pretty standard for me now... I guess it's part of having a baby.
I'm more emotional now than I ever was pregnant!

If Campbell turns out to be anything like Cole,
I'll be one proud & happy momma!

We miss him already, & hope he doesn't wait another 6 years before visiting again.
I have a pretty good feeling he'll be back to see Cam soon.

*****
I am going private again.

This blog is basically our family journal...
(cause I'm to lazy to document any other way)
It's also a way to keep in touch with our
family & friends we don't see often enough.

It's not meant for complete strangers to stumble upon and make creepy comments.
I know its annoying... blame the creepers :)

Leave a comment, email, or txt me your email if you'd like to continue to keep up with our not so exciting life.
