#25 is my nephew Chayce. After this catch he ran for a touch down, the only touch down of the game.

Last weekend I went to Sacramento for work. 2 of my cousins live close by so I made them come see me while I was there. I wish I had time to see everyone else that lives close too (my mom grew up in the area, and most of her siblings live less than an hour away).

I just now noticed I had been tagged to list 50 random things about me. I am going to do Me and Chris, cause I think 50 is going to be hard!

1. I could take a nap everyday if I was able!

2. Chris will not let food touch his lips when he is eating

3. Chris also will only eat one thing at a time. He'll eat his salad then his corn, and then his chicken. I don't get it.

4. I hate putting laundry away after I fold it... it usually sits on the couch for a few days.

5. Chris is not allowed to fold the laundry... he doesn't shake the clothes, or flatten out the wrinkles and it drives me crazy!

6. Dang I'm only at 6 and already cant think

7. We are the worst people in the world- we might be giving away one of our dogs soon. I know... I'm one of those people :(

8. Chris' Grandpa calls me a Redheaded heifer.

9. My family loves Chris more than they love me.

10. I love pretty much any reality t.v. show. I'm so pathetic I watch lots of shows on MTV even.

11. I am really starting to enjoy reading... it feels good to finish a book!

19. Almost every time I'm leaving after visiting my family, I get the urge to cry but never do.

20. We pretend to recycle. We separate glass and plastic but never end up taking it down to the recycling center.

23. I am a terrible driver. Yes I said it. I learned in Utah though, so what do you expect.

25. I don't like to dance, Chris loves to.

27. I don't like to eat my green veggies (broccoli, asparagus, artichoke) without Mayo.

30. We have 18 nieces and Nephews on my side, and 2 nephews on Chris'

31. My mom is my hero. She is a bit crazy sometimes, but really is the strongest 61 year old woman alive!

What a Labor Day weekend!

Friday at about 1 am I started having the weirdest stomach cramps I have ever felt. I still can't totally explain the exact feeling and the intense pain... but it was no good. I immediately knew something was not ok with my body, but didn't really feel like I needed to go to the hospital.

Chris was on the other side of the house asleep. I knew he would freak out when he saw me laying on the bathroom floor crying so I tried to scream his name as calmly as I could.

After some convincing from him an my mom, I finally agreed to go to the ER. We got there about 1:40 am. We sat.... and waited till about 5:30 am when they finally had a room for me.

I got to experience a pelvic exam, cat scan, lots of blood work, and a couple different doctors and residents all in a few hours. By about 9:00 am they had come to the conclusion that I needed to have an appendectomy. Unfortunately for me, the surgeon had lots going on, and told me my surgery wouldn't be till much later in the evening.

Since I figured I would just be sitting in the ER for a few hours I sent Chris home to get a few things and take care of some stuff he needed to get done at work.

Surprise... my nurse came in about an hour and a half later to tell me she was getting my pre-op stuff ready?! I called Chris, he rushed back, but not quite in time to see me before I went back. No worries though, I was in good hands... No only was Dr. Wang awesome and so good to me, I also had two friends that have been in the hospital for the past two weeks with their brother that came down to pray with me.

Surgery was at about noon and I was in my room by 4:30 pm, and I was discharged at 4 the following afternoon.

I have never felt so helpless in my life. Everyone keeps telling me to take the time to relax and enjoy it, but that isn't really possible. There is too much to do, and I HATE sleeping on my back. It is driving me crazy.

Chris has been a great nurse. I am lucky to have him, especially with my family so far away. I am feeling much better, but I can't wait until I'll be able to stand up without taking it slow, bend down to pick something up, and sleep on my tummy!
