Campbell turned one on Saturday, February 25.
On Thursday, we were instructed to pick up a surprise visitor...
Grandma Polly flew in just to celebrate with us!
Friday we went to the zoo,
just as Chris and I did the day before Campbell was born last year.
Then we met up with Dad for lunch.
Campbell woke up happy for his big day.
We all enjoyed special birthday donuts for breakfast.
The little guy really only ate the frosting.
He was still getting his appetite back from the double ear infection
he was diagnosed with the Thursday before.

We spent the day enjoying our sweet boy &
getting ready for his party guests.
I was getting ready to run few quick errands
when Chris told me I had one more guest to pick up from the airport.
Uncle Miles also flew in.
I am so thankful Campbell is so so loved by so many.
Cam loved being the center of attention at his party.
He always love attention...
if he doesn't feel like he is getting enough he starts performing in order to get it.
We served his favorite foods &
the guest decorated their own cupcakes.
The cake was not smashed.
It was barley even touched.
I should have known since he doesn't really love for his hands to be dirty anymore.
We ended the night opening gifts,
reading books,
& taking a bath with Grandma Polly.
