Battle Mountain

Earlier this month Cam and I traveled to Battle Mountain, Nv.

I have to admit I was a little worried about this trip.

We had a layover each way, plus a 3 hour car ride to and from the airport. 

Thankfully Campbell did great! The best so far. 

We had such a great time with our Quintanas.

We got to watch all the kids games & have lunch with them & Aunt Misty.

 This is the day Campbell got a little sunburn. 

Obviously it was not a hot day. 

We only sat outside for a minute before going to the car for the rest of the game. 

One of the boys on the team (my nephews cousin) broke his femur in the 4th quarter.

Ouch!

Cam loved their cats. 

Too bad his allergic mom will never allow him to have one :)

The week we left was homecoming for the high school.

Misty and I played in the powder puff game as alumni vs. Brooklyn's team of students. 

I am a proud kindergarten graduate of Battle Mountain :)

I felt the same way!

 We had a 2 hour layover on the way home in PHX. 

... and look who came to visit us while we were there.

Pumpkin Carving Party 2.0

We had friends over again this year to get our pumpkin carving on.

I made the little mummy shirt for Cam, but it didn't last long. 

He did not love the the pumpkin guts...

8 Months

Our sweet boy turned 8 months old yesterday. 

For the Record:

-He can sit up from lying down

-He got his first sun burn while we were in Nevada 

(Mom of the year over here)

-We think he is going to be a lefty... 

-We've started to work on some signing

-I've been putting a little portion of whatever we are eating 

in the bullet for him to eat lately and he LOVES it.  

 -He's got a mean stink eye.
