ice ice baby

Another day stuck inside because of the ice... 

(and the lack of a social life these days) 

resulted in taking pictures of the ice

 the dogs playing in the ice

making a wall of love

sorry if you didn't make the cut

it really wasn't intentional

and making chocolate covered pretzels for the women and children at a local shelter

The plan was to have a cookie exchange with friends for the shelter,

but the ice prevented that from happening.

so we had a couples night with the special few that could make it instead,

with cookies.

and...I forgot to take pictures.

Worst project ever!

I saw this idea on another blog.

She used paper and mod podge.

I thought vinyl would be easier.

It wasn't.

It took forever and it isn't even that cute after all :(

Dallas

A few weeks ago we went to Dallas with the Millers for a little vaca. 

We really didn't have any plans... it was great!

We got in really late the first night. 

So late that everything was closed, so we ate Wendys, In the car.

The weekend consisted of 

shopping, 

massages, 

eating,

this was their first time to have sushi

and Bungee juming!

Thanks for the fun weekend Dave and Mary Ann. 

We can't wait to do it again. 

I'll post videos when I'm not so frustrated with this thing.

Someone is 30...

For Mary Ann's Birthday I had a few girls over for Cupcakes and Champagne. 

Fun!

My sister Brooke also had a birthday. 

She isn't 30.

I ordered this for her @ etsy.com. 

Its a spoon bracelet. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to get it for her.

and PINK and RED HEARTS have thrown up all over my house.
