I love my country music

A few weeks ago we went to see Kellie Pickler, and Taylor Swift. I told Chris he wasn't aloud to sing even if he new the lyrics :) They both put on a really good show. Miss Taylor sure loves to take applause breaks and soak it all in.

I also went to see Blake Shelton with Mary Ann. It was after the rodeo while the fair was in town. $25 for you into the rodeo, concert, and fair. BEST PEOPLE WATCHING EVER. In the words of Blake Shelton, who is from Oklahoma,

" I know whenever I play in Oklahoma, there's gonna be nothin but a bunch of Rednecks!"

Tuesday

Tuesday night is usually date night for Chris and me. We had turned into quit the boring couple so I made a new rule. Every Tuesday when we go out to eat we can't go to the same place twice. There are lots of great restaurants in the Tulsa area (thats why Tulsa is the fattest city per capita), but somehow we always end up going to the same places.

We've been to some of these before... but not since we made the new rule haha.

Visitors

With Chris and I living so far away from my family we don't get visitors very often. It makes it all the more special when we do! This last week my mom and Miles were both here for 5 days.

The night they got here, Chris turned what should have been a 20 minute drive, into an hour drive trying to use a short cut on our way to eat at Toby Keiths I Love This Bar.

The next day we went to the TU vs Boise State game. It rained most of the game... but I think that always makes it better! Miles even made it on ESPN :)

Most of the time we just hung out and relaxed. Mom made our Halloween costumes for me too!

The highlight of the trip for me was the last night they were here. I made everyone go to a Haunted Castle with me. I don't know why watching a 61 year old lady be scared is so funny to me, but it really is. Mean? I don't know, but it was well worth the wait and over priced tickets!
