Marriage.... it's what brings us together today

1. What date is your anniversary? April 11



2. Where did you get married? Tulsa, Ok


3. Who proposed and how? He did. I had been in Utah to watch Cole in region wrestling. I knew he would be looking for rings when I was gone but every time I talked to him he was so frustrated cause he couldn't find anything good enough. He picked me up from the airport and said we were suppose to go to his moms for dinner after we took my stuff back to my apt. So we got to the apt, I walked in the door and there was my ring on my black little pillar thing and rose petals all over the place.

He told me later that he and his mom had spent 7 hrs at Kay Jewelers... and then they both went and cleaned my apt for me.



4. How long were you engaged? It was suppose to be 6 months but ended up only being 3



5. What was your favorite part of your wedding day? The whole thing. I am always most happy to have all my family around.


6. What would you change if you could? A different florist for sure! We ended up doing it ourselves last minute.



7. Wedding Colors? Chocolate, Pink and a little Teal


8. Remember anything special from your ceremony? Any good advice? A comical moment?
I remember Chris' sister slipping off her wedding ring cause her grandparents didn't know she had eloped yet. I don't remember much else other than being soooo happy and Chris crying more than me... both times :)


9. Were you clean or messy when you cut your cake? (Did you shove it in each others mouths and get it all over your face? Yes/No?) No... I threatened Chris :)


10. Where did you go on your honeymoon? Las Vegas... it was short and sweet!



11. How long have you been married now? almost 2 1/2 years!

Our real anniversary is April 11.... but August 12 is when we were able to have the "pretty" wedding. I just decided to post some of our wedding pictures cause I still love them so much!

Flashback....

Me and Lacy 2003 in Millard

I think this was 7th Grade soccer. My brother was really the coach but he was out of town on picture day so my mom stepped in. I remember some like 6 foot tall kid falling on me this game and feeling like I was about to die :)

I was just going to add some old sports pictures... but ended up getting a little carried away with myself.

For Cher and Chey's 18th birthday we all went to Vegas. We rented a limo and drove around all night. We really did have a good time. I think it was the first time we had all been to Vegas w/o parents.

Notice the red eyes... This was Harvest our senior year. An emotional night for me... I moved to Oklahoma the next weekend. And I just liked to keep things dramatic.. all the time.

My niece Brooklyn just turned 12. Chris and I decided we would return the favor and do our own little birthday dance for her. We both forgot the moves as you will see :)
